This luxurious and spacious living room has the original 1911 stone fireplace with a gas insert and open fire.  It has seating for eight and is filled with period antiques with lovely views of the gardens and yard. Enjoy a warm drink by the cozy fireplace and reminisce about times gone by.

The pool room sits just opposite the living room with the stone fireplace. This early 20th century eight foot slate pool table is in perfect condition and is surrounded by art. The warmth and ambience of this room is perfect for an evening of billiards with  your family and friends.

Dining Room

Perhaps the favorite room in the house, this table extends out to allow seating for up to 12 people. Enjoy meals, or just play board games and visit – this room has a great deal of natural light and charm. Outside the French doors is an extra large porch and a six person hot tub.

The bookcase is 1860s American oak from Maine. It is filled with books, CD's and a stereo for your enjoyment.

The fabled stained glass of the mouse and the lion sits between the dining room and the kitchen and was commissioned with Melanie Lessard, a stained glass artist in Astoria.

This extra large kitchen has a table that can seat up to six. There is ample cupboard space and a large pantry. It is stocked with just about everything and anything needed for cooking and entertaining, including a dishwasher, microwave oven, crock pot, waffle maker, coffee maker, toaster, griddle for pancakes, and much more.

We also stock basic spices, salt, pepper, sugar and flour. If you need something quick, Sid's Market, a full grocery store, is just two blocks east and 4 blocks south. For cooking, the kitchen has a 5 burner stove and double ovens.

Basement

We have a small nursery for toddlers in the basement, as well as an extra bedroom with a queen bed. You can also find at the Lion's Paw: children's books, a trunk of toys, and a trunk of dress up clothes in the second living room.
