The Lion’s Paw vacation rental, at 4500 sq feet and 7 bedrooms, occupies 3/4 of a city block and is situated within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean. The village of Seaview quietly separates, with a neighborhood of Victorian homes. The towns of Ilwaco and Long Beach, Washington are just a few miles away.
The original fir and cedar walls create an atmosphere of warmth and a space for rejuvenation and conviviality, serenity and introspection.
The antique pool table, along with the grand stone fireplace in the great room, invite camaraderie, while the uniquely appointed rooms are conducive to comfort and intimacy.
Built in 1911 as a large family home, this Craftsman style bungalow served the Long Beach Peninsula as a much needed hospital from 1930 into the 1940’s. The healing spirit still lingers in Seaview at the Lion’s Paw Inn.
You can go 1.5 miles north to downtown Long Beach and visit the shops and galleries. Walk the sand dunes. Ride a horse on the beach. Bird watch in Leadbetter State Park. Fly a kite where the champions do. Ride a bike on the Dune Trail and watch the Grey Whales spout off shore. Tread the earth where Lewis & Clark did. Visit the Peninsula's two lighthouses. See one of our many museums and parks. Watch the cranberries grow.
Or, come on back, read a while, converse, have a cup of tea or coffee on the deck or sun porch, maybe even take a nap.
